Mechanical Rituals

Mastered by the dwarves of ancient times, many schematics and plans have been lost to time. A few plans have been salvaged and re-invented over the years and are in use by the dwarves of the Silver Mountains.

These devices can be crafted with an extension of the ritual caster feat and feature. All devices require a thievery check, and are augmented by that check in some way. You may find more schematics on your own during your travels.

Pressure Mine

Key Skill: Thievery

You create a small explosive device that is triggered by pressure. Once crafted, you can switch it on or off (you don’t want it exploding in your bag do you?). When you craft a mine, make a thievery check and divide the result by 5. Add that number to the damage that mine deals.
